Hey guys, not your typical book post right now, but I wanted to share with you guys an app that I just downloaded. So my one of my friends (if you see this, hi) has been bugging me to start running again, and I decided that it's time to try getting rid of my aversion… Continue reading Thoughts while trying out Zombies, Run!
Hey guys. Hope you guys are safe and well. I've hesitated on whether I should write this post since I was afraid of risking saying the wrong things. But I've come to realize that not speaking would make you a complicit bystander. It's been heartbreaking and difficult to read and hear the amount of unrest… Continue reading Black Lives Matter: Ways to Support the Cause
Hey guys! I decided to repost this in case people wanted inspirations for things to do while listening to an audiobook. I’m currently listening to Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson. What was the last book you listened to?
I recently asked the twitter community what they did while listening to audio books, and I compiled all the answers along with some of my own. I wanted to try sectioning them out into the level of difficulty that each activity would be. (This is personal preference, so difficulties may vary). I thought this would be a nice guide to those starting off listening to audiobooks (like me!) or those who want some ideas.
- Painting nails
- Taking a bath/shower
- Going on a walk
- On the commute to work
- Long car rides
- Falling asleep (with a timer, of course)
- Getting ready in the morning
- Doing chores
- Coloring books
- Scrolling through social media (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc) – @caitlinalthea
Any other ideas? Let me know down below!! I’d be happy to add them to the list 🙂
