Top Ten Tuesday #34 | Romance Books I Want to See as a Movie

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. Thank you for the prompts!

Movie

All the Bright Places

And it’s happening!! I’m so excited.

I’ll Give You the Sun

After All the Bright Places, this was the next novel I bawled my eyes to.

A Taxonomy of Love

A mix of Flipped and Love, Rosie. The process of thinking about it makes me excited!

The Upside of Unrequited

Another of Becca Abertalli’s books! I can only think the movie will be very much similar to Love, Simon.

The Lonely Hearts Hotel

I feel like this story would very much feel like One Day with a more whimsical and simultaneously stark. The bleak skies of old Montreal. The laughing orphans running along the street. OMG.

TV show

Hush Hush

This is one of my first paranormal romance series that I wrote. If this was a TV show, I think it would be most similar to the Mortal Instruments.

Fangirl

I could totally see this as a next Netflix show.

A Curse so Dark and Lonely

Slow burn romance, and beautiful medieval time scenery that ought to have more screen time? Definitely a TV show. Perhaps the setting will be a mix of Ella Enchanted and the Elizabethan Era (alliterations truly not intended)

Caraval

I still can’t get over how amazing the cinematography would be if Caraval became a TV show. The lavish costumes and the acrobatics. I feel like the entire set would be amazing. As you can see, I’ve been obsessed with this idea for a while: Dream Cast #1 | Caraval by Stephanie Garber
