The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway

The Old Man and the Sea

Rating: 4/5

I read this after I visited Key West, Florida and saw the Hemingway House. This was a really quick read which was frustrating at times. However, the old man’s stubbornness is something to admire and appreciate. There were some passages that I found was really profound and thoughtful.

“Perhaps I should not have been a fisherman, he thought. But that was the thing that I was born for”

Up Next:

  • Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel
  • Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami

School is getting super busy with uni apps and all, so I might be reading a lot less for these few months. Though I hope I’ll manage to get through a few!

    1. Yay October! Lol, my biggest reason for reading Hemingway was because I visited his house 😛 Some books are best read given the right circumstances 😉
